Radford, Virginia

Radford is located in the New River Valley in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. With a population of less than 20,000 covering 9.5 square miles, and home to Radford University, it is a small, college town.

It is a wonderful place for those who love the outdoors, with abundant opportunities for kayaking, fishing and tubing on the New River; and hiking or bicycling on one of the region's dozens of nature trails.

With the Mackler Historic Tour, history buffs can enjoy a driving tour of the area to see the many historic locations that tell the story of this town.
